Board of Directors

Tallaght Childcare Centre is a registered charity and is embedded in Tallaght community.  Our Board of Management are there to ensure that the organisation is properly managed and to support the General Manager to ensure that the service is delivering high quality early years care and education.  

The board provides direction and guidance and oversees the organisation by:

  • Defining the vision, mission, and values of the organisation
  • Setting out the long-term Strategic Plan
  • Establishing policies and procedures to ensure good governance
  • Developing a risk management strategy to protect the organisation

Overseeing the use of the financial and other resources of the organisation to meet its goals and objectives and to ensure its long-term sustainability

Niall Quigley – Chairperson

Chair of TCC and a non-executive director since 2016.  A Chartered Accountant, with over 35 years’ experience, in commercial property, supply chain, fresh produce, financing and not-for-profit organisations.   Niall worked at Grant Thornton, Fyffes plc, Balmoral International Land plc and Housing Finance Agency plc and has held many roles including Head of Finance, Group Financial Controller, Company Secretary, Director and Head of Internal Audit.  Niall has extensive experience in the finance, management, compliance, reporting and negotiation.

Áine Bambrick – Company Secretary

Áine Bambrick was appointed to the board of TCC in 2024 and acts as the Company Secretary. She is a solicitor with a broad range of experience in the public sector and private practice. Currently, Áine is a Commercial Lawyer in a public body where she advises primarily on property, planning law, contracts, litigation, and public law matters. Prior to this, Áine was Senior Legal Counsel in a semi state body for a number of years and also an Associate in a large commercial firm. 

Marcus Purcell 

Marcus joined the Board in 2024 and as a qualified Chartered Accountant.  Marcus brings a wealth of experience to the Board and the Finance Committee, which he currently chairs.  He currently works as a Partner in EY with expertise in Corporate Finance and Risk Management. Marcus has 20 years’ experience working in the Corporate Sector in Ireland and United Kingdom.  Marcus enjoys spending his spare time with his children and playing and watching sport.

Genevieve Wyeth

Genevieve joined the Board of TCC in 2022 and chairs the development committee and is a member of the finance committee.  Genevieve studied Economics at University College Dublin and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting at Dublin City University. She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, having qualified with KPMG. She spent 18 years at Fyffes, formerly Fyffes plc, holding various roles. She was Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance from 2008 to 2021, responsible for global mergers & acquisitions and operational matters. She advises various boards on corporate and property related affairs. She is also an non-executive director of The National Library of Ireland and Deli Lites Ireland. 

Allison Graham 

Allison Graham is the CEO of Saoirse Domestic Violence Services.  Allison previously worked with Aoibhneas Domestic Abuse Support Services and established their first outreach service.  Allison has served on several Voluntary sector boards.  She also served on Steering committees with the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, Tusla’s Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence department and Safe Ireland.  Allison has extensive leadership & management, HR, strategic planning, budgetary reporting and charity governance and compliance experience spanning 25 years in the charity NGO sector.  Allison is a qualified and accredited Counsellor with the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP) since 2011. Allison holds a BA Hons degree in Sociology and Psychology from University College Cork and a Postgraduate H.Dip in Business and Management from UCD Michael Smurfit College.

Natalie Dunne

Natalie Dunne has a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies.  She has worked with Barnardos for over 25 years, all of it being in family support and in particular early years families in Tallaght.  Along with her work in Barnardos she also works with Tallaght Childhood Development Initiative since 2010 offering parent support programmes to families in West Tallaght including Infant massage, Parents Plus, PeeP and parent and toddler groups.  Natalie has been a member of Board of Management for Tallaght Childcare Centre since 2013.
