Toddler Room

Our Toddler Room caters for children from 2-3 years and the staff/child is 1:6.  Our Toddler room is run on a play based curriculum with the emphasis on Fun.  Tallaght Childcare Centre acknowledges that all children are different and therefore we plan our activities to nurture and encourage the children’s individual needs and interests.  All children are treated with care and respect and staff assist then in their play to help them explore and lean about their environments.

What happens during the day?

Staff generate a positive and encouraging atmosphere within the room to support all the children to reach their developmental milestones at their own pace, and also to assist in building up trust and self esteem among the group. It is during this time that we support parents with toilet training.  The staff are on  hand to give advice/tips on what may help prepare the children.
