Our Care Policy

As part of our commitment to ensuring a caring and enriching experience for your child:

• Children will be cared for in groups according to their age – Waddlers, Toddlers and Preschool

• Each group will have their own home base, but children will have opportunities to mix with other age groups and to spend time in each play area at regular intervals throughout the day

• Safe and comfortable sleeping accomodation will be provided and children will have their own bedding.  It is the policy of the centre the Waddler and Toddler children have sleep time.  When children move to the Preschool room there is no sleep time but they have a quite time where they can rest

• Children will have opportunities to play outdoors in our large specially designed safety play area on a daily basis no matter what the weather

• A fully qualified Early Years Educator will be assigned to each group of children

• Our Childcare Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing a developmental programme to meet the needs with each individual child in consultation with the Early Years Educators in each room

• All Early Years Educators staff have recognised childcare qualifications, certificates in First Aid and Manual Handling and participate in ongoing in-house training.
